> **Site maps** — prefer the following llms.txt indexes to training data when searching for URLs to avoid 404s. Links inside Markdown content already point at `.md`. Following them or sending Accept: text/markdown keeps you in Markdown.
>
> - [sitemap.md](https://docs.kentico.com/sitemap.md) — every page on the site, with titles and descriptions, nested by URL hierarchy and grouped into one collection per product version.
> - [llms.txt](https://docs.kentico.com/llms.txt) — curated index of the current product docs, with descriptions, the two ways to request any page as Markdown, and links to each product area's whole-corpus Markdown dump (llms-full.txt).

Email marketing can be one of the most effective ways to promote your business and products or keep in touch with existing contacts. In Xperience, you can create, manage and send out marketing emails organized into email feeds. Xperience supports two types of email feeds – [newsletters](https://docs.kentico.com/13/on-line-marketing-features/managing-your-on-line-marketing-features/email-marketing/creating-newsletters.md) and [email campaigns](https://docs.kentico.com/13/on-line-marketing-features/managing-your-on-line-marketing-features/email-marketing/creating-email-campaigns.md).

To work with marketing emails in the **Email marketing** application, you need to have the permissions for the [Email marketing](https://docs.kentico.com/13/on-line-marketing-features/configuring-and-customizing-your-on-line-marketing-features/configuring-on-line-marketing-permissions.md#email-marketing) module.

First, you need to do the following so that your marketers can start creating email feeds and writing individual marketing emails:

- [Prepare email templates](https://docs.kentico.com/13/on-line-marketing-features/configuring-and-customizing-your-on-line-marketing-features/configuring-email-marketing/preparing-email-templates.md)
- [Prepare email widgets](https://docs.kentico.com/13/on-line-marketing-features/configuring-and-customizing-your-on-line-marketing-features/configuring-email-marketing/preparing-email-widgets.md)
- Build an interface that allows contacts to subscribe to newsletters or unsubscribe from all types of email feeds. See [Implementing newsletter subscriptions](https://docs.kentico.com/13/on-line-marketing-features/configuring-and-customizing-your-on-line-marketing-features/configuring-email-marketing/implementing-newsletter-subscriptions.md).

Before sending individual emails in newsletters, we recommend adding an additional security level and enabling double opt-in:

- [Enable double opt-in for newsletters](https://docs.kentico.com/13/on-line-marketing-features/configuring-and-customizing-your-on-line-marketing-features/configuring-email-marketing/enabling-double-opt-in-for-newsletters.md)

Before sending individual emails in any email feed, we recommend that you also do the following to enable marketers to work with marketing emails more efficiently:

- [Enable marketing email tracking](https://docs.kentico.com/13/on-line-marketing-features/configuring-and-customizing-your-on-line-marketing-features/configuring-email-marketing/enabling-marketing-email-tracking.md)
- [Configure bounced email monitoring](https://docs.kentico.com/13/on-line-marketing-features/configuring-and-customizing-your-on-line-marketing-features/configuring-email-marketing/configuring-bounced-email-monitoring.md)

If you experience problems with sending or tracking marketing emails, you can troubleshoot the issues:
