Kentico Xperience Hotfix and Upgrade Utility

Hotfix Utility and Upgrade Utility are two identical external utilities that can be used to hotfix or upgrade Xperience instances. They are included in Xperience hotfix and upgrade packages as the Hotfix.exe and Upgrade.exe executables.

You can launch the utilities in two ways:

• By clicking the Apply button in the Upgrade/Hotfix and Check dialogs of Kentico Xperience Installation Manager.

  

• By executing the appropriate file installed from the hotfix package, which you can download from DevNet.

After launching the utility, you can follow the instructions in Upgrading and hotfixing an instance.
