Configuring SharePoint integration settings
You can configure the default logon credentials used to access the SharePoint server:
- Open the Settings application.
- Select the Integration -> Microsoft SharePoint category.
- Enter values into the Username and Password settings.
- Click Save.
The credentials are used by default if you leave the Username and Password properties blank for SharePoint web parts.
If you enable the Use Windows Authentication setting, the system uses the current user’s windows domain credentials to access the SharePoint server.
You must specify the address of the actual SharePoint server in the properties of SharePoint web parts.
The GetSharePointFile.aspx page automatically uses the credentials from the settings for authentication.
Users can access the page manually by entering the URL. We therefore recommend that you enter the credentials of a user who is authorized to access only files that you want to display on your website.
