The **Store overview** application provides a widget dashboard that you can personalize to contain frequently used sources of information and tools. The dashboard is intended as an overview of the system's E-commerce Solution features.

Kentico offers many different [widgets](https://docs.kentico.com/k8tutorial/creating-pages-using-the-portal-engine/customizing-pages-using-widgets.md), which you can configure and place on the board. For example, you can use widgets to view various e-commerce [reports](https://docs.kentico.com/k8/e-commerce-features/store-reports.md) (e.g. monthly sales, sales by [order status](https://docs.kentico.com/k8/e-commerce-features/configuring-and-managing-your-store/order-statuses.md), etc.), to display a list of [products](https://docs.kentico.com/k8/e-commerce-features/configuring-and-managing-your-store/products.md), [orders](https://docs.kentico.com/k8/e-commerce-features/configuring-and-managing-your-store/orders.md), etc. that match a specified filter, or to check whether all required e-commerce [settings](https://docs.kentico.com/k8/e-commerce-features/configuring-and-managing-your-store/e-commerce-website-settings.md) are configured correctly.
