You can configure settings related to friends in Settings -> Community.

Friend management path |
The node alias path of the page the Friendship management web part is placed on. This is a special web part that handles friendship management actions from friendship request e-mails. If the user receives an email with a friendship request, this email contains links for friendship approval and rejection. When the user clicks one of the links they are redirected to the specified page, and the user guid and type of action are transferred in the form of querystring parameters. The Friendship management web part processes the received parameters and performs actions necessary for friendship approval or rejection. On the Community Starter Site, the Special-pages/Friend-management page serves this purpose. |
