To allow [Multivariate testing](https://docs.kentico.com/k82/on-line-marketing-features/optimization-testing/multivariate-testing.md) on your website:

1. Open the**Settings** application.
2. Click on **On‑line marketing**.
3. Select your **Site** (or enable MVT testing globally).
4. Check **Enable multivariate testing**.
5. Click **Save**.

You also need to enable [Web analytics](https://docs.kentico.com/k82/on-line-marketing-features/web-analytics.md), which the system uses to log conversion statistics for individual versions of the tested pages:

1. Switch to the **On‑line marketing -> Web analytics** sub‑category of the settings.
2. Check **Enable web analytics** and **Track conversions**.
3. Click **Save**.

Users with the [appropriate permissions](https://docs.kentico.com/k82/on-line-marketing-features/configuring-on-line-marketing-permissions.md#ab-and-mvt-testing) can now [define MVT tests](https://docs.kentico.com/k82/on-line-marketing-features/optimization-testing/multivariate-testing/creating-mvt-tests.md) for the website's pages.
