| **Enable friends** | Indicates if the Friends functionality is available in other features on the live site. |
| **Friend management path** | The node alias path of the page the **Friendship management** web part is placed on. This is a special web part that handles friendship management actions from friendship request e-mails.
If the user receives an email with a friendship request, this email contains links for friendship approval and rejection. When the user clicks one of the links they are redirected to the specified page, and the user guid and type of action are transferred in the form of querystring parameters. The **Friendship management** web part processes the received parameters and performs actions necessary for friendship approval or rejection.
On the **Community Starter Site**, the _Special-pages/Friend-management_ page serves this purpose. |
