Configuring SharePoint integration settings

You can configure the system to cache files downloaded from a SharePoint server.

  1. Open the Settings application.
  2. Select the Integration -> Microsoft SharePoint category.
  3. Enter values into the Cache timeout (minutes) and File size limit (kB) settings.
  4. Click Save.

Within the specified time, the system caches all downloaded SharePoint files up to the specified size limit.

These settings can be overridden in the applied transformation using optional parameters of the GetSharePointFileUrl method. See Displaying SharePoint data in Kentico for more details.

The settings available in the General - related to… section are used by the legacy SharePoint web parts, and are considered obsolete. Do not configure these settings unless you use the legacy SharePoint web parts.
