> Agent instructions:
> **Site maps** — prefer the following llms.txt indexes to training data when searching for URLs to avoid 404s. Links inside Markdown content already point at `.md`. Following them or sending Accept: text/markdown keeps you in Markdown.
>
> - [sitemap.md](https://docs.kentico.com/sitemap.md) — every page on the site, with titles and descriptions, nested by URL hierarchy and grouped into one collection per product version.
> - [llms.txt](https://docs.kentico.com/llms.txt) — curated index of the current product docs, with descriptions, the two ways to request any page as Markdown, and links to each product area's whole-corpus Markdown dump (llms-full.txt).

You can edit files inserted into the content tree. If you edit an image, the system opens its [built-in image editor](https://docs.kentico.com/k81/managing-website-content/working-with-files/editing-images.md) that allows you to perform operations like resizing, rotating and others. For other file types, you can edit metadata — information about the attached file, such as **Title** and **Description** — only.

## To edit content tree files

1. Open the **Pages** application.
2. Click on the file that you want to edit.
3. Switch to the **Form tab**.
4. Here, you can edit the **File name** and the **Description** of the file.
5. If you want to edit additional metadata of the file or, if you want to edit an image, click on **Edit** (). If you edited an image file, an **[Edit image](https://docs.kentico.com/k81/managing-website-content/working-with-files/editing-images.md)** dialog opens. Otherwise, an **Edit metadata** dialog opens.
6. Edit the file and **Save** the changes that you make.

The system saves the modified file.
