How to import marketing automation

Do you want to use some of our ready-made automation processes in your campaigns?

You don’t need to re-create the processes step-by-step in your application. With the right admin permissions, you can upload the process directly into your Kentico Xperience application.


  1. Go to the Sites application.

  2. Click Import site or objects.

  3. Upload package.

    1. Find the .zip file with the Marketing automation process you want to use.
    2. Keep Preselect all items.
    3. Click Next.
  4. In Macro re-signing, click Select.

    1. Choose your user account.
      Note: If you don’t have appropriate permissions to sign macros, request them from your website administrator.
  5. In the left column, select On-line marketing → Automation processes.

  6. Go to the Next step.

  7. Select Finish to import your process into the Marketing automation application.

Navigate to your Marketing automation application. The process you’ve uploaded will be listed among your existing processes. Adjust the imported process to match your campaign scenario and start using it right away.
