> Agent instructions:
> **Site maps** — prefer the following llms.txt indexes to training data when searching for URLs to avoid 404s. Links inside Markdown content already point at `.md`. Following them or sending Accept: text/markdown keeps you in Markdown.
>
> - [sitemap.md](https://docs.kentico.com/sitemap.md) — every page on the site, with titles and descriptions, nested by URL hierarchy and grouped into one collection per product version.
> - [llms.txt](https://docs.kentico.com/llms.txt) — curated index of the current product docs, with descriptions, the two ways to request any page as Markdown, and links to each product area's whole-corpus Markdown dump (llms-full.txt).

Xperience by Kentico includes a set of AI-powered agents as part of the [AIRA Agentic Marketing Suite](https://docs.kentico.com/documentation/business-users/aira/agentic-marketing-suite.md). Each agent specializes in a specific marketing scenario. This page covers the shared agent management settings and the configuration of individual agents.

## Manage agents

You can manage all agents from a single location in the AIRA application. This includes enabling or disabling agents and providing custom instructions that influence agent behavior.

![Agents overview](https://docs.kentico.com/docsassets/documentation/agent-configuration/AIRA_agents_overview.png "Agents overview")

### Enable or disable agents

To enable or disable a specific agent:

1. Open the **AIRA** application.
2. Navigate to the **Agents** tab.
3. Select **Edit** for the agent you want to configure.
4. Select or clear the **Enable agent** checkbox.
5. **Save** the settings.

> **Note:** Disabling an agent prevents users from interacting with it through [AIRA](https://docs.kentico.com/documentation/business-users/aira.md#aira-in-product-guidance). To disable all AIRA features globally, see [Disable AIRA globally](https://docs.kentico.com/documentation/developers-and-admins/configuration/aira-configuration.md#disable-aira-globally).

### Add custom instructions to agents

You can provide custom instructions that guide how an agent responds and behaves. For example, you can specify brand terminology, preferred communication style, or domain-specific rules.

To add custom instructions to an agent:

1. Open the **AIRA** application.
2. Navigate to the **Agents** tab.
3. Select **Edit** for the agent you want to configure.
4. Enter your instructions in the **Custom instructions** field.
5. **Save** the settings.

The custom instructions apply to all interactions with the selected agent.

## SEO & GEO Specialist requirements and behavior

> **Warning:** **Network access required**
>
> The SEO & GEO Specialist requires the server to access the public URL of your website. If the environment restricts this access, for example through firewall rules or authentication requirements, the agent may not function correctly. Make sure the server can reach its own public URL without restrictions.

The [SEO & GEO Specialist](https://docs.kentico.com/documentation/business-users/aira/agentic-marketing-suite.md#seo-geo-specialist) analyzes individual pages and recommends improvements to enhance their search performance and AI readability. The agent is [enabled](#enable-or-disable-agents) by default.

Keywords targeted by the page are required to run the SEO & GEO analysis. When a user with the _Update_ [permission](https://docs.kentico.com/documentation/developers-and-admins/configuration/users/role-management/page-permission-management.md) for the page provides new keywords (or asks AIRA to infer them), the keywords are saved for convenience to be used in future analyses, until they are changed. Users with the _Read_ permission can run the analysis, but their keywords are not saved. The keywords can only be changed and retrieved in the [AIRA](https://docs.kentico.com/documentation/business-users/aira.md#aira-in-product-guidance) chat.

## Configure Content Strategist

The [Content Strategist](https://docs.kentico.com/documentation/business-users/aira/agentic-marketing-suite.md#content-strategist) helps you create and manage Content Strategies for your project. You can [enable or disable](#enable-or-disable-agents) the agent and manage Content Strategy artifacts.

> **Warning:** **Network access required**
>
> The Content Strategist requires the server to access the public URL of your website. If the environment restricts this access, for example through firewall rules or authentication requirements, the agent may not function correctly. Make sure the server can reach its own public URL without restrictions.

To configure the agent and its artifacts, assign the required AIRA permissions in [Role management](https://docs.kentico.com/documentation/developers-and-admins/configuration/users/role-management.md). To view and download the Content Strategy, content governance roles need the **View artifacts** permission. They also need the **Manage artifacts** permission to create, update, or delete the Content Strategy artifact.

### Create or update Content Strategy

You can create or update your Content Strategy in two ways:

**Create or update through AIRA**

Start a conversation with [AIRA](https://docs.kentico.com/documentation/business-users/aira.md#aira-in-product-guidance) and ask it to create or update a Content Strategy. When AIRA generates the strategy or adjusts the existing one, you will be prompted to **allow** the _Save content strategy_ action. Once approved, AIRA saves the Content Strategy under the **Artifacts** tab.

**Upload existing Content Strategy**

1. Start a conversation with [AIRA](https://docs.kentico.com/documentation/business-users/aira.md#aira-in-product-guidance).

2. Provide your existing Content Strategy as text.

   > **Info:** The maximum allowed message length is 20K characters.

3. Ask AIRA to save it as the Content Strategy.

4. When prompted by AIRA, select **Allow** to save Content Strategy.

The Content Strategy is now saved and available on the **Artifacts** tab or directly in the AIRA chat interface.

### Download Content Strategy

To download the current Content Strategy:

1. Open the **AIRA** application.
2. Select the **Artifacts** tab.
3. Download () the **content-strategy.md** file.

### Delete Content Strategy

To delete the current Content Strategy:

1. Open the **AIRA** application.
2. Select the **Artifacts** tab.
3. Delete () the **content-strategy.md** file.
