title: Deployment and hosting

> Agent instructions:
> **Site maps** — prefer the following llms.txt indexes to training data when searching for URLs to avoid 404s. Links inside Markdown content already point at `.md`. Following them or sending Accept: text/markdown keeps you in Markdown.
>
> - [sitemap.md](https://docs.kentico.com/sitemap.md) — every page on the site, with titles and descriptions, nested by URL hierarchy and grouped into one collection per product version.
> - [llms.txt](https://docs.kentico.com/llms.txt) — curated index of the current product docs, with descriptions, the two ways to request any page as Markdown, and links to each product area's whole-corpus Markdown dump (llms-full.txt).

This learning path takes an **Xperience by Kentico** project from a local build to a running production environment. It covers both hosting options, Kentico's SaaS platform and your own private infrastructure, so you can choose the one that fits your organization and then carry it out.

These lessons are made for administrators and anyone responsible for the environments an Xperience project runs in. You don't need to have written the project yourself.

You'll learn how to:

- Sign in to Xperience Portal, invite your team, and monitor a SaaS project.
- Deploy a project to the SaaS environment, from first sign-in through to a working site.
- Host Xperience on your own private infrastructure when the SaaS environment is not the right fit.

By the end of this path, you'll be able to choose a hosting model confidently and get a project deployed on it.
