> Agent instructions:
> **Site maps** — prefer the following llms.txt indexes to training data when searching for URLs to avoid 404s. Links inside Markdown content already point at `.md`. Following them or sending Accept: text/markdown keeps you in Markdown.
>
> - [sitemap.md](https://docs.kentico.com/sitemap.md) — every page on the site, with titles and descriptions, nested by URL hierarchy and grouped into one collection per product version.
> - [llms.txt](https://docs.kentico.com/llms.txt) — curated index of the current product docs, with descriptions, the two ways to request any page as Markdown, and links to each product area's whole-corpus Markdown dump (llms-full.txt).

The **Groups** application allows site members ([registered](https://docs.kentico.com/k11/managing-users/user-registration-and-authentication.md) website users) who share an interest in a certain topic or field to access related information and share their own experiences in a subsection of the website. The users can create new groups or join already existing groups.

Groups can have their own page sections, forums, message boards, media libraries, and polls. Additionally, groups have the option of defining group roles and they can also be useful for managing access control.

Site administrators can manage groups of a given site through the administration interface. Both site administrators and users in authorized roles can edit the content and various settings of groups. See [Working with groups](https://docs.kentico.com/k11/community-features/groups/working-with-groups.md).

Further settings (see [Settings - Groups](https://docs.kentico.com/k11/configuring-kentico/managing-sites/configuring-settings-for-sites/settings-community/settings-groups.md)) are available for users with the Global administrator [privilege level](https://docs.kentico.com/k11/managing-users/user-management.md) or the _Configure settings_ [permission](https://docs.kentico.com/k11/managing-users/configuring-permissions.md) for the _CMS_ module.

To allow users to use groups, you have to place on your site any of the web parts available in the **Community -> Groups** web part category. See [Allowing users to create groups](https://docs.kentico.com/k11/community-features/groups/allowing-users-to-create-groups.md) for an example of how to set up this functionality.
